High urgency
Stop driving — call us
This affects your safety. Don’t keep driving on it; call us and we’ll tell you what to do.
Most likely
A tyre is low on pressure
Your tyre-pressure monitor has spotted a tyre well below pressure. Pull over safely, check all four with a gauge and inflate to the door-sticker number before driving on. A tyre that won’t hold air may have a puncture: don’t drive on it.
What we’ll check: Pressures, then each tyre for punctures.
Understand it better
How often should I check my tyre pressure?Once a month and before long trips, while the tyres are cold. It takes two minutes at any petrol station. Can a puncture be repaired?Usually — if it’s a small hole in the main tread and the tyre wasn’t driven flat. Holes in the sidewall or shoulder mean a new tyre.
This is a guide, not a diagnosis — cars are complicated, and only a proper look can tell for sure.
